How To Run An Ad After the ad runs
Once the ad runs, you should take a look at it to make sure it ran and ran correctly. Most advertising representatives will drop off a copy of the publication the day the ad runs. Even when you've done everything right and signed off on a proof, sometimes the ad won't appear correctly. It's just the nature of the business--putting out a different product every day or week seems to invite errors, even for the most careful publications. Most newspapers are very good about making up for any errors they might have caused, but you can find general guidelines in our rate card section.
